Along with David’s personal storehouse of herbal merchandise there are plenty of other things available at the shop. Apothecary jars line the wall, full of herbs, spices, and tea blends, which are sold by the ounce. Some with peculiar names like Uva-Ursi and Kudzu Root. More familiar names like peppermint, garlic, and ginger have their place as well. At the end of the row of jars is a scale for weighing the customer’s purchase, just like an old-time pharmacy.
